FRANCESCO CANINI
Born in Rome in 1955, he began his artistic career very young. Over that same period he created his own artisan activity consisting in framing and restoring artwork from the end of the 19th century to the most recent avant-gardes. This gave him the opportunity not only to deepen his knowledge of the 20th century art, but also to meet remarkable artists like Ruggero Savinio, Ugo Attardi, Lorenzo Tornabuoni, Enrico Gallian, who were crucial masters for his training. In 2001 he moved to the Pontine coast. Since then he devotes himself exclusively to his paintings, immersed in silence and solitude he intends to infuse to his works. On 25 October 2022 he returns to Roma where he opened a new studio on Lungotevere Gianicolense, at Piazza della Rovere 87.
